1. CLAN FORMAT AND REQUIREMENTS

 

1.1 Clan size
Clans must consist of a minimum of 8 and a maximum of 16 players, with at least one player identified as Captain/Manager and preferably at least one other player as Vice Captain.

 

1.2 Captain/Manager's responsibilities
Captains/Managers will be the primary point of contact between the League Runners and the clan. They will be approached to submit team lists and are expected to make sure their players are aware of which games they need to play and by what deadline ,to keep up to date with all rules and rule changes, making sure they keep up to date with events on league discussion and clan news threads

 

1.3 Team lists for each fixture  
 7 players must be selected from the clan to play each league fixture with the remaining players being considered reserves. These lists must be submitted to the League runners by the deadline given. Failure to do so may mean that teams will be drawn at random from players that are eligible for the fixture set. Failure to submit team lists for fixture set 1 by the deadline stated will result in 7 players being drawn at random from all members of the clan in order to populate the games.

 

Players marked in RED on the Team Lists page are either not eligible to play, or not eligible to play until the Fixture Set noted in the RED box

 

1.4 Player transfers

Prior to the season commencing clan rosters for the season must be submitted to the League Runners to be registered. They will then be maintained on the Team Lists page of this website.
Players may only transfer to another team once the transfer window opens , once the transfer window has closed there will be no transfers permitted for the duration of the season.

Once a player has played for a clan in an FBL cup fixture, they are cup-tied and ineligible to play for any other clan in the same competition.

 

Attempts to get around the transfer rule will not be tolerated. Creating a new username will not mean you are entitled to join another clan, you will be subject to the same rules. Should you create a username and attempt to conceal your identity in order to bypass this rule, you may be banned from the League for one season.

 

Captains may remove inactive players at any time from their team, the removal must be confirmed by messaging the League Runner, and such players are not deemed free agents. Any inactive player that may become active again may be brought back into the same clan, subject to available space, and the change sent to the League Runner. Alternatively they may seek one transfer to another clan during the transfer window.

The FBL runners reserve the right to make any ruling on any transfer that may take place as appropriate.  All transfers are to be notified to the League runners on the FBL Team Changes thread (as per Rule 1.7).

 

1.5 Free agents
A free agent is any player not registered to a clan. Clans may sign free agents at any time

 

1.6 Withdrawing clans
When a clan officially withdraws, or is dissolved, during a season all results will be expunged from the records. The League reserves the right to remove any clan from the competition at any time.

 

1.7 Notification of team list changes
Clans are required to inform the League runners of any changes to the personnel in their clan. This includes all players leaving and joining the clan or existing players changing their user names. Any changes made are to be notified by posting on the FBL Team Changes thread and are considered official from the point they are posted on the thread.

 

1.8 Quarantine for new signings

Players accounts must be one month old, once their account reaches one month they are eligible to be subbed into a current fixture

 

1.9 Forming a new clan

New clans are permitted entry into the league only between seasons and at the discretion of the league hosts.

 

1.10 Player account requirements
There are no player account requirements other than account age and  with the exception of those relating to Free Agents - see 1.11 below.

 

1.11 Free Agents
Any free agents signed during a season , must have an account that has been registered for one month, or more before being eligible to play.
